Visited the Robbins LIbrary in Arlington today. Beautiful old building. Libraries are a place that I always feel immediately comfortable inside, even if I’ve never been to that particular one before.
Taking advantage of the near 80ºF weather and enjoying some time on Bob and Kat’s front porch. Of course, by the end of this week, we’ll be back to the 40s, because March.
I am taking an “Introduction to Clay” class. Doug and I were discussing what sort of things I could make, and of course when I arrived today, I could only think of one. So….here it is. A soap dish for one of the new bathroom.
Doug, the kitties, and I have successfully moved into Kat and Bob’s house for the week while the bathrooms are being demo’ed. The cats arrived in separate carriers, but have crammed together into one and they seem to be taking comfort in one another for now.
Goodbye bedroom closet. You’ve been pretty good to us over the years. We are replacing you because the shower in our bathroom completely sucks, and we’re finally having it rehab’ed, which will mean taking you apart, and rebuilding you bigger, better, stronger, faster (?).
I heard on the forecast today that we’d be getting “aesthetic snow” — just enough to cover everything and make it look pretty, but not enough to cause any problems. It was an accurate description.
