Preparation for our annual New Year’s Day brunch tomorrow.  Assorted serving utensils, plates, silverware, napkins, a bowl for bagels.  Everything else is in the kitchen.

Had the annual boob squish today.  After the radiologist took a front view, she turned me for the side, and realized  “Oh!  I’m just going to grab my bigger paddle.”   Yep.  Heard that before.

Really?  We have to put signs on the doors of businesses now, telling people not to be assholes????

Since buying my latest car 2 years ago, I have missed driving a stick shift.  They’re just really hard to find these days.  So, Doug got me an ersatz shifter to keep me entertained.

I haven’t painted my nails myself in years….probably at least 10 years.  But I thought they were looking good enough to do them today.

Another successful Jewish Christmas Eve spent at a local Chinese restaurant.  We were pretty sure we had ordered way too much food, but in the end, we’d managed to finish off most of it.

I know I’m Jewish, and didn’t grow up doing all the Christmas decoration stuff.  But, because I don’t live under a rock, I’m pretty aware of the type of things that are out there.  But this one baffles me.  Is the dinosaur eating the Christmas tree?  Smoking it? What does any of this have to do with Christmas?

The landscape crew planted a bunch of new shrubs in the corner of the yard as a “nursery” to hold them there over the winter. The crew will be back in spring to finish up the rest of the job.

He’s hiding, and he thinks we can’t see him.

Oh!  Found him!

Our grass is gone.
