I know many people will find this photo repulsive. But, as my friend Kris likes to say, you don’t need to “yuck” on someone else’s “yum.” When I was a kid, every time we went to my grandparents’ house, my nana would have a tongue sandwich waiting for me. This sandwich brings back warm memories for me. Plus, it’s freakin’ delicious.
I got Doug a pasta maker for Christmas, knowing full well I’d be the recipient of the tasty results, like this fettuccine.

As part of a work video, I made maple candy in the snow today. It was quite simple to make, though the cleanup was a bit of a chore, with hardened maple syrup stuck to everything.
Our lovely grocery delivering family brought us a box of homemade cupcakes today.
In these times of COVID, Doug and I have taken to going for walks to visit the assorted houses in our neighborhood that are in various stages of construction. This one is kind of insane. Since last we saw it, they added front doors. And man, are they fugly.
