I love responding to the surveys the RNC sends.

And this is one of the things I love about my little car.  Also, that a Fit fits everything you want to put in it!

I’m not a fan of the Elf on a Shelf, but whatever.  When the Mensch on a Bench came up, I thought “cute rhyme, unnecessary idea.”  Now we’ve got two more stupid so-called Hannukah versions?   Enough!  Just because there’s a Christmas thing, there doesn’t have to be a Hannukah equivalent.

Not as common around here as the downy woodpecker, this is the confusingly named hairy woodpecker.   And yes….it’s not alive.  It was in the Collections office at work.  Still cool, though.

The grapes I bought today came with a few raisins

The lights Doug installed in the backyard make it much easier to watch the snow falling.
