This may or may not actually be a robin’s egg. There are other birds that lay blue eggs.
These are leftover from some kind of event at work. No idea what sort of event. I just know there are boxes and boxes of these lollipops in the break room.
My uncle and my cousin didn’t want me to take this picture, but I think it’s adorable. It’s been a long time since we were all together.

Many years ago, when my mom and I went on an Alaskan cruise, I bought this ulu for Doug. It’s technically a skinning knife, but works well for chopping nuts, herbs and other ingredients. Yes, we have a food processor, but sometimes it’s more satisfying to chop things this way.

I love these little flowers. They carpet that whole corner of the yard in tiny blue flowers. I just wish they lasted longer.
The final remaining speck of last summer’s pedicure clings determinedly to my left big toe….
