“Let him go on….he’s a Ferrous in the sun…!”
turkey lurkey time
Doug carves the bird and places the slices onto the turkey platter of yesterday’s post. Dinner was DELICIOUS!!!!
getting ready
This platter belonged to my Nana, and Doug and I inherited it when she was downsizing to move in with my Mom. She only ever used it, I think, on Thanksgiving. And now that’s the only time we use it.
Polar Express
There are many many many copies of this book in my colleague’s office for an event at work in a couple weeks. It’s a little silly.
Pepto soda?
When I saw these in the cooler at the cafe, my immediate thought was “Chilled Pepto Bismol??? Why????” And then realized they were soda and was still pretty horrified.
little ghost
I was waiting in line to get some breakfast when I noticed this kid crouched down on the floor, staring intently. After he left, I went over to look, and spotted this sticker on the floor. Kids notice stuff that adults don’t.
Bucky
I went to a workshop tonight called “Yoga and Your Anatomy.” It was interesting, though not quite as helpful as I’d hoped. This is the instructor.
felt
My coworker has two big boxes of these felt pieces at her desk. It’s kind of impossible to not stick your hands in and just play with them. She also brought this little sample of them to a meeting, with the idea that looking at these nice bright colors would put us in a good mood.
useful
Got this “free gift” today: a little key fob that hold bobby pins for those times you have a sudden hair emergency. Or, you know, when you need to pick a lock.
