Happy Halloween!

Every year the city invites kids to paint on the windows of local businesses for Halloween.   I especially liked this one.

Somebody at work is doing some kind of activity with pumpkins this weekend, but someone has snuck in a butternut squash.  Must be a Trick for Halloween!

Today is my coworker Dianne’s birthday.  My other coworker Cora made her a donut board (no, she did not invent this idea…apparently, it’s a thing).  Cora and I decided it would be funny if one of the donuts had a big bite out of it, so of course I was happy to oblige.

I voted this morning.  It was kind of anticlimactic, as these things often are, but it’s done.   Now, fingers crossed…

I’m always amused when I see cormorants and other birds sitting on whatever art happens to be floating in the Channel.  I wonder if the artists consider that their creations are going to be covered in bird shit.

Anyone got a can opener so I can get into my car?  (the one on the right)

Today was the first National Chemistry Week event at work without my friend Chris.  I think she was there in spirit; things went really well, the volunteers were super, and kids had a great time.Those of us running the event were really feeling her absence today, but also her presence.

OK,  there,  I have jumped on the Prisma bandwagon.  It is kind of fun to play with…
