I strapped on my snowshoes today and took a little tour of the yard.  Cleared the area in front of the shed and the compost bin, and just wandered around.  It was quite lovely.

Spotted this neighbor walking her dog at about noon today.  

Someone brought these to a meeting today.  They’re like little animal crackers filled with chocolatey goodness.

Yes, my first sale (and my second) were both to friends, but it’s still exciting.

Most people use them to collect pennies or other spare change.  My coworkers in the accounting office collect staples that have been removed from papers.  Like you do.

The cold sure makes some things look pretty…but that doesn’t mean I’m going to like it.

Given the antlers, I think this is probably supposed to be a moose.  But the oval on the belly, the little tuft on top and the yellow nose make it look bird-like, with the glasses giving that cliched owl look.

This is Blue.  He’s a cougar, and is about 3 months old.  He’s killing a bamboo tree.
