so, looking at this wall, you’d think some kids were playing with the stones or something. but no…they are actually cemented there. maybe it’s to discourage people from sitting there, but the stones are too far apart for that. I hope it’s not because someone thought it was a good look….
both kitties spent most of the day in the bathroom, alternately on top of or underneath this cabinet. I’ve been able to pet this guy several times, and while he doesn’t purr, he also doesn’t back up or hiss, so that’s a positive.
we brought the new kitties home today and they are understandably freaked out. this guy settled himself in the corner and didn’t move, though he watched us like a hawk every time we came in to the room.
Martha’s Vineyard FilmFest II, taking place at….well, at our house. Last year it was broadcast on the side of the garage, but this year weather forced it inside.
we went to the local alpaca farm to watch them shear the baby alpacas. there were lots of alpacas to be seen, which is never really a bad thing. and FYI, a baby alpaca is called a cria.
the great thing about eating with Jeff is nothing goes to waste. he will finish everything off everyone’s plate. in fact, at dinner this evening he announced that no one was to send back any plates with food on them, unless they planned on taking it home. it was impressive to watch.
