Doug and I went to a reptile expo today where, ironically, a lot of people had frogs on display.

I always try to take multiple shots for my photos, but sometimes it doesn’t work out.  most of the time, those pictures don’t amount to much, but sometimes I’m really pleased with the results.  this would be one of those times.  (and click here to see another.)

Got a dusting of snow last night, just enough to show that someone wandered up our driveway…I suspect a raccoon…

ladies, if you’ve never had a professional bra fitting, I recommend it. it’s kind of fun and it’s good to have a completely objective opinion (as opposed to that of your partner, who probably just says “ooo! boobies!”)

this is a coolbug. as explained to me by its 8-year-old creator, the feathery wings are not for flight, but to keep the creature’s body cool.  I thought that was…well…pretty cool.

the view out the bedroom window this morning. but hey, at least there’s daylight!

I have no idea what “apple fries” are, but I’m pretty sure these ain’t it.

so I mail-ordered some stuff for the kitties and the package arrived with a large, but broken, dog biscuit inside. we were curious what the boys would make of it, so we tossed it at them, on top of this large piece of cardboard.  they were initially very interested in its smell, but then decided that at least the broken-off piece was just another toy.
