this was the only visible meter on either side of the street. the city claims they’re going to start collecting for meters again on Wednesday. I suspect most of them will still be buried, so then what?

we went snowshoeing along the Charles today, and spotted this note on a railing.  poor Jim.

usually this little vignette on our porch looks peaceful and inviting. today, it just looks cold.

seems I over-paid my car loan, so I got this refund. I’ll try not to spend it all in one place.

I’ve been attending a short series of workshops about doing math and science with preschoolers. today, we had to create something with blocks, and then put little bears to live in it. because that’s what happens at the sort of workshops I attend.

yes, Gerald is an iguana and Watson is a bearded dragon. but they can still be friends. we could all learn from them, couldn’t we?

so today a coworker and I tested out a couple different brands of neon facepaint and then wandered around the latest traveling exhibit, which has lots of black lights. it was rad.
