Poor daffodils. Some kind of strange white substance landed all over the ground and made them sad this morning.  Maybe a fungus of some sort?  At least it seems to have disappeared during the day.

It’s like someone tried to use pennies in the meter, then got disgusted and threw them on the ground when it wouldn’t work. Also, the shadow of the meter makes me think of Mickey Mouse (which, by the way, is impossible to type without singing the letters).

Much like I do with lilacs  (see link), I prefer the deeper more intense color of the bud before it actually blooms.

Ferrous is trapped by the sun.

Sometimes, my shopping  list has some strange things on it.   Doug never questions.

This is not the sort of thing one expects to find in my workplace, but here it is. (Also, I am amused that for a change, today Doug is the one who posted a cat picture, while I posted a picture of beer.)

Sometimes, when their behavior is just baffling or particularly bizarre, all you can say is…

 I pulled the carton out of the fridge this morning, and this egg was slightly cracked; when we initially weighed this egg, it came in at 68 grams.  It’s now at 27 grams.  Probably best not to open it in the house.

Laurie brought us this beautiful assortment of pansies for our anniversary.  They look so cheery first thing in the morning.

The bartender we hired for our anniversary party was not as familiar with the drinks our friends like as she was with some of the more familiar ones.  So, she wrote out some recipes, and by all accounts, she did very well.
