Remember when  Jordan’s had that ad campaign suggesting Jordan’s as the  place to go for a Saturday night?  Well, we did just that.  Found a sectional we liked.  This is the fabric (solid for the sectional, print for the pillows).

Palm fronds aren’t what one expects to see in the middle of the Channel on a miserable rainy day in April.  Or on any day, really.

Leah thanks Arty for a good ride this afternoon

We made cookies today.  Leah likes to roll hers into a smooth ball, and I like to leave them lumpy, so we split it.  I still say mine are better.

Leah and I went for a walk in a park tonight before seeing a show at a small local theater.  It was a strange park, with signs declaring it to be government property,  and with lots of clearings that are obviously meant for weddings and such.  At the far end of the park, a bridge was covered with cloth ribbons that twanged in the breeze, and there were giant ants (that turned out to be labelled as water striders) on the water.

Came into my office today to find two packages waiting on my desk for me, from a couple of the floor staff at work.  A wonderful way to start the day.

This is Mia Ham.  She came for my birthday party, along with a number of other furry and feathery friends.  A good time was had by all.

For most people, stuff all over your desk means pens and files and empty coffee cups.  For my coworker, it means this.
