I was cleaning out the medicine cabinet the other day, and came across this bottle. When we went to Costa Rica last year, I had spoken to my pulmonologist; I had some concerns about humidity and altitude affecting my respiratory issues. So he wrote a couple prescriptions just in case…I love that the label specifies for use in Costa Rica.
This is just not a good way to start the week. I missed my yoga class because of it. Argh.
I picked up a little footrest to go under my desk; not surprisingly, my feet don’t comfortably reach the floor and this was putting stress on my knees. anyway, the instructions included this little picture, which Doug and I found amusing.
Doug and Kris went to assorted foodie places today and bought all sorts of foodie things, much to their own delight. This is Kris’s loot.
According to my handy-dandy Beaufort scale in my office, it was blowing around 30mph for much of today. Whoosh!
I wonder if we will ever again look at these numbers juxtaposed like this, and think nothing of it.
we have a particularly musical staff at work right now. this guy sometimes will sit at the piano for a bit in the morning before he opens the art exhibit. I have listened quietly before; if he knew I was there, he’d stop.

Happily, it was well above freezing today, so it wasn’t all that bad. I was glad to have my hat though, as State Street station was pretty chilly, and we had a long wait there. Overall, a good time was had by all participants, and many other people were confused.
As I was walking to the parking garage after work, I spotted this container of peanut butter on a ledge on a building I passed. It belongs to one of our exhibits. I’m sure some kid took it and then the parents realized what happened, so they did the obvious thing and just left it there. So I grabbed it and put it in my car to bring to work next week.
