We made festive hats to wear at work today, as part of our New Year’s Eve celebration.  Fare thee well, 2013….

The cats have rediscovered their fascination with the small rugs in the house, only they’ve somehow figured out how to get the liners out from under them while somehow leaving the rug completely undisturbed.  It’s baffling.

At first glance, both Doug and I read this as something other than what it says, something you wouldn’t really want to associate with your hot cereal.

Went to Toscaninni’s in Central Square after seeing an ImprovBoston show.  There are plastic polar bears hanging from the ceiling. It’s a little odd.

Ferrous really likes to be under a blanket, even better if he’s under or between my knees.  He spent much of the afternoon  this way.  Merry Christmas to me 🙂

This is a tray of instruments that my chiropracctor sometimes uses.  He’s got a little informational video on his web site here;  he actually uses the word “actually” a lot, but it’s still a good explanation, and I still adore him.

Downton Abbey returns in just 2 weeks!  Huzzah!!!

This is PJ. He’s a marmoset monkey, and he’s about 6 years old. He hasn’t been at work for a few years, and it was nice to see him again.  I have a picture of myself holding him from when he was a baby, but now he’ll only let his person do that.

This is Spirit.  He is a Geoffrey’s cat, which is a wild cat native to southern and central South America. He may look like a cute housecat, but he’ll rip your face right the %^$&@ off.

The president likes to take over one of the conference rooms and decorate for the holidays and offer a spread of tasty desserts.  You’ll see the frighteningly huge nutcracker from yesterday has relocted himself….like an Elf on the Shelf from Hell.

Some folks at work had a rather intense, borderline violent competetion for holiday decorations of their office doors.  This was one contestant.  I voted for a different one….one that didn’t scare me and make me go “BAH!!!”
