Spotted this business plan today on a tour of Autodesk’s Build Space. This start-up is designing incubators that run off car batteries, and could be used to help newborns in remote places. It’s quite possibly the best business plan ever.

Sometimes when I order things, I will put a note requesting a silly picture. I figure it gives the order pickers a break in routine, and since I’ve usually forgotten about it by the time it arrives, I get a fun surprise. This time, I asked for the order to please include a drawing of a duck. And they sent FIVE!! It made my day.

Scallions were actually on my shopping list, but when I saw the sign for wild scallions, I thought that might be interesting. And then I thought of Bill and Ted, and I stood in the store and giggled.

I love these little labels Rachel has for cheese plates.

Because, really….who doesn’t??

There were a lot of candies we ate as kids that were really pretty gross. These definitely belong on that list, but we loved them anyway.

I am sitting at my desk, and hear a weird, loud sproinging noise behind me. I turn around to see this guy, clinging to the screen outside. I waited to take his picture before chasing him off.

This is Bullet. She looooooves chasing Frisbees, and like her name suggests, she is very fast. This was the 43rd picture I took of her, because she just wouldn’t keep still.

I am going to a “Bad Art Party” tomorrow night, and attendees are encouraged to bring junk food. So here’s my contribution. I can’t remember the last time I had these, nevermind made them.

Be careful! This cake bites back!
(Yes. That’s cake. Well, except for the head. But the rest of it is cake.)
