in the walk-in closet (or the Christopher Walken Closet, as we call it) my summer clothes await.  not much longer, my little friends….

had a fabulous time this evening hanging out with coworker-friends old and new. 

perhaps in honor of the first day of google’s new privacy policies. but more likely because I thought a whole bunch of googly eyes was funny.

I’ve been wanting to take a picture of this church for ages. It’s a UU Church, believe it or not, probably one of the more elaborate ones out there. Someday I will get a shot of it at sunset, because it’s truly gorgeous then.

I know that last weekend Venus and Jupiter were flanking the moon, so I suspect that at least one of these stars is one of those. But my knowledge of astronomy and star charts pretty much stops at….well, it just never gets started really. 

I always find it a bit alarming to see my car off the ground like this…

Saw these at a used book store today. I was never into the Hardy Boys, but my best friend was a big fan. I didn’t read Nancy Drew either….

we have a reasonable collection for take-out. I suspect we will get more familiar with it when the kitchen project gets going….
