Had a delightful meal with Kat and Bob, and as we left the restaurant, we spotted this ring of stone pillars. We ultimately decided they must have surrounded a trash can at some point, for all the good they did to keep someone from moving it.

I know my little pocket camera can’t possibly get anything even close to the shots Doug was getting, I did think these red berries in the sun were quite pretty to look at.

Spotted at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. She didn’t seem to disturbed by our presence.

Strangely, this is the second time I’ve posted a picture of this household chore.

I tried this trick a found on the internet and it actually worked!!! Not perfectly, but pretty well. Amazing.

It was so busy, I didn’t get a chance to find out her name, but wow, is she freakin’ cute. She’s eating a tiny banana chip.

Except they’re on the boardwalk. There’s a story here, and I wonder what it is. These few cards were just sitting here, no others in sight.

I had a tuna sandwich for lunch today so the kitties got the water drained from the can. Yum!

Somehow, in spite of living here my whole life, I’ve never made it to the Museum of Bad Art in Davis Square. Until tonight. This painting spoke to me. I don’t know what it said, but it was definitely one of my “favorites.”

I know. I’ve posted them before. But they are one of the best things about summer. And those of you who think winter is better, I offer this as proof that you are wrong.
