The nurse gave me this last night.  It’s supposed to help alleviate pain when it hurts to breathe.   It kind of does.  Sort of.  A little.

Some people pay lots of money for a view like this. So do some medical insurance companies  🙂

Ferrous behind the curtain, keeping a close eye on what’s going on in the neighborhood

My team at work is really just the most wonderful group of people.  At our weekly meeting today, they gave me a card with some very sweet notes, and a list of things to watch/read/listen to while I’m recovering from surgery.

This was the view up and down my street.  Luckily, I had the day off, so I was able to put our bins away as soon as the trucks came by.

Doug disassembled a bathroom faucet the other day, and I thought it looked like a face.  But I still added the broken skewer to complete the look.

Things I need to get done at work before medical leave for the month of March.  There are probably other things, but this was my first pass.

 

Is it me, or does this piece of celery look like one of those wavy air-powered things you see in the lots of car dealerships?

As part of this week’s programs, we are making paper airplanes.  Luckily, we just rolled out a new logo, so there’s tons of old-logo stationery lying around; it’s heavier than regular copier paper, and perfect for folding into airplanes.
