OK, it’s neither a very exciting picture, nor a very good one. The story is, a new neighbor moved across the street sometime last fall, and we finally got around to inviting her over for drinks or whatever (this is her wine glass). And I really enjoyed hanging out with her. I am hoping we have a new friend.
My improv meetup disappeared during the pandemic, unsurprisingly. I found an online group, and it was fun, but not the same. A couple weeks ago, I thought “There’s GOT to be another group out there.” So I searched MeetUp and not only found a group in Davis Square, but it was run by the same guy who ran the one in Cambridge. I am so excited to have it back.
My first official project is complete and at home. I’m very pleased with how it came out. It will live in the Green Bathroom, once it’s complete.
Caught the Lyric State production of “Something Rotten” today. It was not in the slightest bit rotten. In fact, it was positively outstanding. I highly recommend to anyone in the area to see it, or if you see another production happening somewhere else, it’s a super fun show.
There were many things we didn’t like about our bathroom; one of them was the complete lack of natural light. But that has been remedied!! Makes a huge difference.
This made me think of Clifford, only orange. Of course, I realize it’s probably for Newton North High School, whose colors are orange and black, and whose mascot is the Tigers. But I still like my idea.
Spotted this display at the hardware store. I can’t remember the last time I saw Matchbox cars anywhere, though I’m sure there are people out there who are collectors. At any rate, this made me smile. Apologies for it being so out of focus.
So it was around 5:00, I needed to make myself a quick and early dinner, so I got out the stuff for a tuna sandwich. Got the mayo from the fridge and remembered 1) I forgot to buy mayo at the store today, and 2) I hadn’t taken a picture and wasn’t feeling super inspired. So….here you are. Cinco de Mayo.
I was so proud of myself for remembering to wear my R2D2 earrings today. They were a pain in the butt to make, so I hope I never lose them.
We’ve seen and/or heard this red-bellied woodpecker for the last few weeks. Seems he’s made a home here in this tree.
Given that this was taken on a phone camera from across the street, I’m pretty happy with it.
