A message went out to volunteers this evening asking if anyone was available to pick up a cat at the shelter and bring her to her foster home in Waltham.  That’s the next town over, so I said I’d help.  This poor kitty was found on the street.  She’s young and very pregnant.  She was silent the entire ride; quite the difference from our experience with our boys, who take turns yelling when in the car.

Folks who are familiar with the formally-inappropriately-named but soon-to-be-appropriately named Green Bathroom may have noticed that the door opened in the direction that was least helpful.  That has been corrected.  Now all we need is a doorknob…

Got a much needed massage today.  This little fellow hung out with me as I put my shoes back on.

Our closets have floors! They don’t have anything else, not even finished walls, but….baby steps!

Since we are renovating both bathrooms, they both need a new soap dish.  Here’s my effort from today.  I will probably glaze it in a couple weeks.

Sometimes when I am upstairs in the loft watching a movie or reading or whatever, Ferrous likes to settle under my knees, under the blanket with me.  It’s very cozy, and certainly adorable, but my legs do get a bit stiff  after a while.  Of course, I don’t move; I just suffer with it.  Because I am a cat person.

It was warm enough today for us to sit on the porch for dinner, and then hang out there for the evening.  Gandalf was very pleased.  We did not tell him that will be the last time for a while, as the next few days look pretty cold. We didn’t want to ruin his enjoyment.

Check it out!  Our glorious luxury shower with a nice heavy plastic curtain, an almost-hopefully-someday window, and of course, the orange floor.

I write notes to myself all the time, but if there’s no paper and pen handy, I’lll make a note on my phone.  And just like the ones on paper, sometimes I come across them later and have absolutely no idea what they mean.
