Shower

We have a shower! It’s not complete — missing tile inside the nook, glass doors, and a few other things — but it’s water-tight, has a shower curtain on a temporary rod, and all the plumbing is done. So we can use this now instead of the temporary one lined with plastic sheeting. So much nicer!

Getting there

The big thing today is that electrical is done, including a vanity fixture for the green bathroom. Other things you’ll note in this photo include the antique medicine cabinet, heated-floor thermostat, our funky subway wall tiles installed and grouted, and the accent strip installed but not yet grouted. And two mistakes: one outlet was roughed in too low, and our contractor used pencil liner atop the accent strip instead of the intended full-size bullnose tiles.
