Grill-roasted pork rib roast, in honor of Lis’s actual birthday.

I installed a new car stereo in Lis’s car today. The biggest differences since the last time I did this: I used a laptop to look up some of the wiring details, and the connectors are smaller.

For Lis’s birthday party, we had an opportunity for our friends to meet some cool animals. This is Zema the umbrella cockatoo, saying hello to Claire, Lis, Jeff, and Michael.

We went to Jordan’s Furniture this evening to start shopping for a new sectional sofa for the loft. We disqualified this one because the back cushions are permanently attached, which we don’t want.

Sing it with me now: “I’m dreaming of a white Easter, thanks to some Global Warming snow…”

It was so windy this evening that I had to set up a wind block for the grill, to allow it to come to proper temperature. This 40 lb patio tile was in danger of being toppled by the gusts.

If this robin’s gyrations are typical, it’s no wonder we have to fill our birdbath so often.

Aaaah!  I’m turning into a were-cat!

There’s a bug on the floor.  It’s roughly gnat-sized.  If you look carefully you can see it by Gandalf’s right front paw. No such invader shall escape their gaze!
