When I’m the one to notice the kitties need more food, I like to write it on the list with my left hand so it looks like that old Far Side cartoon.

Chocolate hazelnut biscotti, ready for their second baking. The plan is that having these in my desk drawer at work will keep me from buying a food-truck pastry for breakfast quite as often.

I can’t believe I’m sitting out on the patio (with a beer, naturally) in short sleeves on October 22.
