{"id":75,"date":"2012-06-06T18:28:10","date_gmt":"2012-06-06T18:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.parkercat.org\/remodel\/2012\/06\/06\/progress\/"},"modified":"2012-06-06T18:28:10","modified_gmt":"2012-06-06T18:28:10","slug":"progress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.parkercat.org\/remodel\/2012\/06\/06\/progress\/","title":{"rendered":"Progress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A lot of update today, aside from the countertop slabs.<\/p>\n<p>The electrician was on site today, and installed our permanent in-ceiling cans (Cree CR6).&nbsp; These look great!&nbsp; He also installed one example of the pendants and one of the undercabinet lights.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/remodel\/DCL_0741.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DCL_0741.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/remodel\/assets_c\/2012\/06\/DCL_0741-thumb-500x333-6012.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"333\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<div>Here you can see all three.&nbsp; The color temperature of the recessed lights and pendants is very close to each other (around 2700K), and the undercabinet lights are are a little whiter (3000K).&nbsp; This is a good combination that will make the undercabinet lights appear a little brighter than they are without adding glare.&nbsp; I am looking forward to darkness this evening so we can see how well they really work.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the lights, the electricians got about half the outlets &amp; switches activated today.&nbsp; They anticipate being back on Friday to finish up the rest.<\/p>\n<p>Also&#8230; the sunroom begins!&nbsp; We have a ledger (up against the house) and the start of the main outside beams.&nbsp; The weather appears to be improving this week more quickly than anticipated, so I am hoping for speedy progress on the rest of the sunroom framing this week.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/remodel\/DCL_0746.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DCL_0746.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/remodel\/assets_c\/2012\/06\/DCL_0746-thumb-500x332-6014.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"332\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A lot of update today, aside from the countertop slabs.
