This bump has been in our sidewalk since we moved in, a result of the nearby tree’s roots growing underneath.\u00a0 Last summer, we asked to have the tree removed.\u00a0 They finally did it this spring, which made the bump crack, and even more hazardous.\u00a0 I asked the tree guy about it, and he said I’d need to contact the city and definitely mention that a friend broke her fucking leg when she tripped on it over the winter.<\/p>\n
