So naturally there was an orange on the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seder_plate\">seder plate<\/a>. <br \/><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/lis_project_365\/assets_c\/2009\/04\/IMG_3346-609.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/lis_project_365\/assets_c\/2009\/04\/IMG_3346-thumb-512x384-609.jpg\" alt=\"April 10 2009\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"384\" width=\"512\" \/><\/a><\/span><br \/>The story my mom told was that a rabbi supposedly said &#8220;we need a woman on the bimah like we need an orange on the seder plate.&#8221; But I just did a little research, and many web sites tell a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ritualwell.org\/holidays\/passover\/onthesedertable\/primaryobject.2005-07-08.9776011383\">different story<\/a>.
