This is dumb. Fuck you 2020.

The intent was to focus on the blooming flower, not the still-closed one behind it.  But it’s hard to see what’s happening on a small screen in the bright sun.

I took a bunch of selfies of me and Ferrous today, and my phone created a collage of them.  Thanks, phone!

Yes, this is silly.  Whatever.

Doug and I have been lucky enough to find complete strangers who are willing to shop for us while we are staying home.  When we unpacked today’s groceries, this note was inside, from Jack (age 8).  If this isn’t the sweetest thing to come out of this whole situation, then I don’t know what is.

I filmed another activity video for work today.  They also ask us for a still photo to go along with it, and I was really happy with today’s picture so here it is.

A couple weeks ago, we made oatmeal-chocolate chip-M&M cookies.  These are the last two of those, along with the chocolate cookies we made this afternoon.  We’ve portioned them out, and put them in the freezer so we can have fresh baked cookies when we want them.

This plot used to have a house.  It’s gone, replaced by a big hole in the ground.  It amuses me there is a house number (and a mailbox) hanging on the construction fence.

Every Friday, my colleagues who have cats get together at one person’s desks and talk about our cats.  Since my boss is included in these meetings (though she’s not pictured here), I have no guilt about attending.  Cat Chats are one of the few things that’s actually better in quarantine…because we actually get to meet each other’s cats!!

In preparation for a recording an activity video for work, I tried making a batch of butter in the food processor today.  Here are the results.
