channeling Bob Ross

Local PBS station had a fundraiser which I happily contributed to:  learn to paint like Bob Ross!  While I’m not as pleased with my painting as I might have been, I enjoyed the process.

where am I

You can find Lis in MA, of course.  But that might be Fiction.

I like this one.

sea of ferns

At the top of the drive to our cabin was this huge meadow of ferns.   As we learned from hiking the Fern Trail down to Tiny Pond, there are many different kinds of ferns in the area, though we had some difficulty telling them apart.

cabin in the woods

Cold Spring cabin, as seen through the trees.  It was quiet and peaceful and exactly what we needed.
