This made me laugh.  Because it’s not the official pest control of Fenway Park, it’s official pest control of the Boston Red Sox.

Friends need us to check in on their cats next week, and I had two keys in a drawer that I thought might be theirs. So I brought them to their place But no. They had to give me a key.  I checked both keys when I got home, and one of them is to my house, but this key remains a mystery.

Today was the annual Thanksgiving potluck lunch at work, and this my contribution.

Somehow, I’m having a hard time believing you….

Russo’s had all these barrels of nuts today,  not shelled, just there in the barrels.  I really enjoyed this, even though I don’t see the need to buy them.  I guess it’s just not something you see that often.

The bug ladies were at work today, and they brought this lovely creature with them. I’m generally not a huge fan of bugs, but mantises are so cool, and this one is just gorgeous.

Doug and I went to a truffle making workshop at Boston Public Market.  Yes, Doug already knows how to make truffles, but it was something fun and different to do. These are my truffles.  Yes, they are cube-shaped.

This photo has been taken hundreds, if not thousands, of times, and deservedly so.  It’s a terrific snapshot of Boston’s architectural history.   One building that was constructed in 1713 surrounded by the glass skyscrapers of today,  and plenty of less modern architecture.  Interesting even to someone like me, who’s not really into history or architecture.

Yes, another picture of Ferrous on the back of the couch, but just to change it up, I’m in it too!
