Playing around with the old classic “polishing pennies” experiment….

It’s Mike the Bubble Man!  Also known as my good friend Mike who came to work tonight to do a fabtabulous bubble show.  Highly recommended.

This is a sight that often greets us first thing in the  morning. The cats are not allowed in the bedroom.  They know this.  So in the mornings, when they hear us start moving about, they come to the door and wait for us. A really happy way to start the day.

Starting some edging today.  Tomorrow, we’ll have to take the TV down so we can paint that wall properly.

Doug and I saw the Pops tonight at Symphony Hall, and we had some time before the concert, so we took a stroll around the reflecting pool outside the Chirstian Science Church.  It was a lovely evening and the concert was great fun.

I made some shrinky-dink templates.  Different shapes shrink differently, and I wanted to have samples of how they do so.  The rectangles on the right haven’t been in the oven yet; all the rest have.

So at a bbq last week, I tripped and fell rather spectacularly, and 8 days later, it still looks like this.

There were some birds or something on the roof of the porch today, and the boys were very attentive. And very very cute.

We headed into Davis Square for dinner and an improv show (at which we were BY FAR the oldest people there).  Spotted this sign outside a restaurant; on the other side, it said “Meat + Beer.”

I was at the Info Desk today and it was pretty slow.  Someone had left this origami jumping frog, and I amused myself trying to take pictures of it in action (FB viewers, there are 2 photos here…click on the link to see)
