Having a chat on the way over to the Vineyard

Jen and Greg had a fire tonight, so I brought along the journals from my college years, which were dreadful.  Tearing out the pages and watching them go up in smoke was satisfying.

We had our old rocker reupholstered and  put it in the loft.  I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

I guess the traditional graffiti method of just writing it on the back of the seat wasn’t going to suffice for this person.  Also, it’s hard to take a close-up picture on a moving train.

We had a “Zim-B-Q” to celebrate Zim’s visit from far-off New Zealand.  I didn’t take nearly as many pictures as I’d planned, I was far too busy catching up with people, like Zim himself and Chris Jackson.

My cousin Jeff and his family were in New England this weekend, and we had a lovely but far too brief visit today.

Oops.

Really?  Were these really necessary?

There was a press event at work today, and one of the speakers brought along his grandsons for the obligatory cute factor.  Cake was served, and I guess it’s a good sign that the kids went off to play in the new exhibit rather than eat the giant slices of cake they cut for themselves.
