I did the Thanksgiving shopping today.  On the list was “4 giant carrots.”  So here they are.  Yes, the scale reads over 3 pounds.

On the plus side, it’s not broken or dislocated, and at least it’s not my right hand.  On the other hand (ha!), it hurts like a bastard and I have no idea what I did to it in the first place, so I can’t avoid doing it again!  (also, typing is hard.)

This is Blaze.  He spent nearly in hour with one of the floor staff today, with his head peeking out of the apron pocket.

Spotted this tree and all its leaves as I walked to the train this morning.

There are centerpieces from Saturday’s fundraiser all over the building.

What this photo doesn’t show is the sound and the feel of Ferrous purring against my leg, and the sound of the rain on the roof.  It all adds up to a wonderfully cozy afternoon.

Gandalf has accepted the new couch, and claimed it as part of his domain.

In preparation for the arrival of the new couch, we moved the old couch out of the way.  And found all the cat toys….

This is kind of artsy for me, but I like it.

I was kind of hoping I’d be able to tuck this button into my purse for a while, and only pull it out when necessary.  But nope…looks like I’ll be wearing it a while longer.
