Yes, I’ve posted a picture much like this one before. But it still means that spring is coming, and I will always celebrate the end of winter.

red dots
Spotted this pattern on the sidewalk outside a shop in Brookline. All I could think was, if the laser projector could make these dots move, this sidewalk would be covered in cats.
boats on the channel
With it being near 70 degrees out today, I felt I was required to at least step outside during my lunch break. I just walked down the boardwalk and back again, before heading back in for my next program. A longer walk would have been nice, but it was good to get out for a moment.
rooster at work
At work today. To quote the late, great David Bowie, “Gee, my life’s a funny thing…”
upside down
Usually Gandalf is the one to be found lying on his back, but sometimes Ferrous likes to relax the same way, especially when hang out on the couch together.
breakfast
I don’t make a habit of posting my meals, but Doug made these delicious cinnamon rolls from leftover pizza dough, and they were amazing and the whole house smelled wonderful, and that just seemed worth acknowledging.
Mrs Cardinal
Just hanging out on top of the bird feeder.
icicles
Another Prisma’ed picture, this one taken on the side of Russo’s market.
warmup
Came in from shoveling and had some hot lemon water. I thought this would make a good subject for a Prisma’ed photo.
Beast
This is Beast. He’s one of the most laid-back kitties I’ve ever met. His primary person is in rehab, and his other person is homeless so Beast spends the day keeping him company. On the one hand, it’s easy to think “You know, if you can’t take care of yourself, you shouldn’t have a cat out here.” But I know how much comfort I get from my own kitties, and I’d hate to deprive someone of that. Either way, Beast is clearly well fed, clean, cared for and seems content. As with many issues around homeless people, it’s not as simple as it appears.
