As you can see, Doug’s got the coworker who sits too close and watches everything he does while breathing really loud (god, that guy’s annoying), and the manager who watches everything from above (ugh).

with this amazingly ugly cat toy.  The batch of fabric I got from work included this Christmas/Elvis printed fabric, so I made a cat toy for my mom’s cat for Mothers’ Day.  I figured Ernie won’t care about the hideousness of the fabric, and my mom would find it amusing.

We’re running out of hamburger buns so we made some more today.  We also made a loaf of sandwich bread, and the house smells so amazing and I WANT TO EAT ALL THE BREAD!!!!!

This azalea is absolutely glorious when in full bloom.  Which it is…just….about….to…be…..

Every day in quarantine is pretty much like the day before.  It grows harder to find interesting or unusual things to take a  photo of.  Then the lava lamp breaks….

Doug and I got out for a nice walk along the trails of a local conservation area.  It was so good to be out, beautiful sunny day, and not too crowded.  My camera is not up to the task of photographing any of the birds we saw, but we also came across this very cool twisty old tree.

I barely know how to use a sewing machine, but since I’ve got one in the house, I want to get  more comfortable with it, and masks are a necessary project.  Clearly, I didn’t cut my two fabrics to the same size here.  I also forgot to turn it back rightside out, but you can’t tell.  Regardless, it fits, it’s got a pocket for a filter, and comfortable ties.  So it’ll do.

When I came in to turn on Oliver’s lights this morning, he was out from under his log, and resting on the branch.   He’s always been photogenic, way back before he had a name, and I called him Mr NewSnake.

Apparently, my neighbor was celebrating a birthday today, and lots of her friends came by to wish her well.

We had to mix up some drinks as props for today’s photo shoot.  None of them are real; Doug didn’t want to waste his booze.  Also, it was 10:00 in the morning.
