Here’s what the sky looked like as I walked to the subway. When I emerged at the other end, Mother Nature was throwing everything she had at us. I was soaked to the skin in just seconds.

Apparently people can’t be trusted to notice that the crosswalk now ends inside the construction fence, so they “painted” over it and created a new one.

easy like Sunday morning

Our beautiful sunny streak ended today with lots of clouds and cooler temps. What better way to spend the day than sitting on the porch, reading yet another book and sipping a cuppa?

buzz buzz buzz

In front of our porch there is a lovely perennial garden. Currently there are echinacea blooming and some other dark pink flower I don’t know. At any rate, the bees love it.

hopscotch

it makes me happy that kids still draw their own hopscotch boards using chalk. I took this in the area where the gingerbread houses are.
