my new camera’s color-highlight feature is a lot easier to use than the one on my old camera. Initially, it was the bright colored shirts of both guys that caught my eye, but one of them had removed his jacket and it was in the center of the structure, very distracting. This is a fine compromise.

I have read Tears of the Giraffe, and it doesn’t deserve this fate. I’ve never read anything by Anthony Trollope, so I can’t speak to that, but I do like the way the table is resting squarely in the center of the woman’s face.

the nana plant

we got this plant from my grandmother when she moved out of her condo and in with my mom…10 years ago? something like that. it’s doing remarkably well, even putting out these little fruits on a regular basis. we have no idea what it’s actually called.
