I don’t know where they came from, but these little stars were a bright spot in an otherwise grey day.

went to the Artisan’s Asylum for a meeting today. saw this cool sculpture: a giant ball (about 4′ across) of what looks like spray insulation covered in little (penny-sized) magnets, and assorted metal bits to play with.

When we redid the bathroom in Southboro, the contractor unearthed a newspaper from 1972 which we found pretty entertaining. This time, they’ve discovered a newspaper under the floor, from August of 1935. It’s in pretty bad shape, of course, but we were able to read the classifieds and a few ads, like this one from the A&P.
