Reefer Madness

For those of you unfamiliar with it,  “Reefer Madness” was a PSA film that was made in 1936 condemning the evils of marijuana.  It was ridiculously over the top, and has turned into something of a cult classic. Then someone thought it would make a good musical….and they were 100% right.

“Latin America”?

This aisle in the store not only sells tortillas, refried beans and taco mix, it also sells soy sauce, udon noodles, pad thai, curry paste, naan, tahini, digestive biscuits and the occasional jar of gefilte fish.  Pretty sure none of those would be considered “Latin America.”  I actually pointed this out to corporate once, and they didn’t seem too happy, but then nothing ever came of it.

signs sign everywhere there’s signs

The theme of this week is “signs.”
This one was on the front door of one of my shelter “colleagues” who has an annual Pie Party to get friends/neighbors to buy raffle tickets.

If anyone has theme suggestions, I’d be happy to hear them.  Since I am no longer at BCM where there was always weird stuff to photograph, I find it challenging to find interesting stuff each day.
