The blind woman I work with lives in an apartment for seniors and folks with disabilities. They have had displays for just about every “special” month: Black history, Jewish American Heritage Month, etc. I was glad to see the display for Pride. In addition to flags, there is a whole display telling about the history of the Pride movement. I think this is pretty cool because the majority of the folks who live there are Boomers and Silent Gen, many of whom are Chinese and Russian. So, not folks who grew up with the idea of LGBTQ+ rights.
