{"id":8,"date":"2009-01-04T16:55:33","date_gmt":"2009-01-04T16:55:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.parkercat.org\/doug365\/2009\/01\/04\/january_4\/"},"modified":"2009-01-04T16:55:33","modified_gmt":"2009-01-04T16:55:33","slug":"january_4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.parkercat.org\/doug365\/2009\/01\/04\/january_4\/","title":{"rendered":"January 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We went to a house showing today, an open house in Newton.&nbsp; This is the latest in a long series of house showings we&#8217;ve gone to, keeping on top of the market while our own house is taking its sweet time to get sold.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s listing was a nice house, only 7 years old, built on the slab of a tear-down 1950&#8217;s ranch. It&#8217;s too big for us, and in the extreme southeast corner of Newton not really convenient to much that we care about.&nbsp; But it did have a nice modern, sunny and bright kitchen:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/doug_project_365\/assets_c\/2009\/01\/DCL_2017-29.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.parkercat.org\/doug_project_365\/assets_c\/2009\/01\/DCL_2017-thumb-512x340-29.jpg\" alt=\"DCL_2017.JPG\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"340\" width=\"512\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<div>It&#8217;s the picture that is curved &#8212; taken with a fisheye lens &#8212; not the kitchen!
