personally I never thought of a bathroom stall as a place to critique a film, but who knows…maybe it’s the next big thing.

Met a couple of friends for lunch today at Bakers Best, a cafe in Newton. Very delicious, and great to see some former BCM’ers.
Mine was order #3.

As I prepared to take this picture, a man on a bicycle asked me to move a bit so he could lock his bike to the railing. I said I’d just be a sec, I was taking a picture, and he naturally asked what I was photographing. When I pointed out the letters on the ground he said “Ah! to paraphrase Sherlock Holmes, I see but I do not observe.” So I told him about Project365, and how it gets you to notice stuff you might not have noticed otherwise.

Said goodbye to the Vineyard today. I easily could have stayed another week, or maybe even two. But I guess it’s a little easier to leave when the weather’s not so nice. Here’s Greg and Jen, sporting raingear, at the ferry dock.

nobody pays attention to this sign. actually, I’m curious how long it’s been here…we noticed it for the first time earlier this week, and it doesn’t look brand-new…

it’s one of those unspoken rules that there’s really no good reason to keep your shoes on in the house or even on the porch.

we brought our kites down to Ocean Park today. Doug and I bought a stunt kite recently, and Jeff also has one, very different from ours, so it was fun to try the different kites. Flying a stunt kite is very different from flying a regular kite; here’s Kat getting a few pointers from Jeff.
