meehhh!

That is the sound that young llamas make, like this one that Rachel and I saw at the  Farmers’ Market in West Tisbury today. We bought lots of tasty fresh veggies that were consumed with a fabulous lobster dinner this evening. Every year we have one big meal at the house, usually Saturday because the weekends have lots of vacationers clogging the restaurants.

mmm….fudge

Jen and I stopped into the infamous Murdick’s to get some fudge, and we watched the experts pour it out onto a marble table to fold and cut it. After he’d folded it, he cut off the ends into small pieces for the watching customers to sample; it was still just a little bit warm. Quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my entire life.

toes

Usually I get my annual pedicure on the island with Rachel, but she’s unable to make it until the end of the week this year. Marie was more than happy to stand in. I can’t remember the name of her color, but I am sporting “Purple with a Purpose.”
