Thanksgiving dinner is done. Now I just need to execute.

Yes, we get our Thanksgiving turkey off the back of a truck. We’ve been getting our turkey from our meat CSA since we moved to Newton, and it’s always fabulous. This year’s weighs in at 24 pounds!

That’s the farmer, Kim, in the hat with papers in her hand.

Likely my last lunch of the season from Shuck Food Truck, who said they’re now off the road “unless the weather is awesome”. They’re expensive for lunch but very good. I had the Lobster Fries, aka lobster poutine.

And I continue to be very impressed by my new camera and its tiny little lens.

My new camera has a few gimmicky effects settings. The “Miniature” one is actually kinda neat, simulating the effect of a tilt/shift lens.

 

My big camera now has a little brother. It’s about half the weight and much smaller, but has the same sensor and can take all my old lenses with an adapter.

Ferrous is glad the baseboard heat has been turned on again (it comes up from behind the couch).

Brilliant set. Funny show.

I think today was probably my last bike-involved commute of the season, since we change the clocks this weekend and it’s supposed to rain the rest of the week. Maybe by next fall the city will have paved my route and I won’t fear falling into a hole in the dark.
