We got out into the woods for a walk today.

A song sparrow visited our feeder.

And we were serenaded by our neighborhood’s resident flicker. For the sake of our ears, I sure hope he finds a mate soon.

My coworker today is posing as a leopard.

What was the best thing before sliced bread?

We put a plush leopard in our front window today in support of the Teddy Bear Hunt movement. But it wasn’t a kid who discovered it first.

Shooting through some obstacles gave this shot of Mr. Cardinal in our pear tree a dream-like quality which I kinda like.

This is one family who’s evidently not hurting for dairy.
