On our first ride up the lift on Sunday, some guys were clearing off and setting up a mogul/freestyle run.  They also made a snowman.

I especially like the pine mohawk, moustache, and chest hair.

We had excellent weather at Sunday River both days — warm and sunny, though windy.  Here’s an example of Saturday’s views.

There’s nothing much that I like better than a good stout.

Tracks in the snow.  Car, people, probably an animal or two.  All will melt soon.

… is crazed.  He’s on the prowl for something.

In like a lion indeed.  Nor’easter today; about 10″ of blowing, drifting snow.  The birds were out in force at the feeder today, including Mrs. Cardinal here.

The beginning of Month 3!  So far, so good… though there have been tough days.  If you see a picture of my dinner you know I am either really proud of it, or was short on ideas and/or time that day.

Today’s picture is Parker and Winnie, curled up together on Lis’s chair this morning.

This is the cherry barb from our fish tank that, until recently, we were calling Sinking Fish.  He had something wrong with his swim bladder, and so could not stay buoyant except by expending effort.  If you look closely you can see that his right pectoral fin is damaged, presumably due to being bashed against the gravel a few too many times.  But now he is swimming around just fine; he seems fully recovered.

Two entries in a row about coffee!  At work, our coffee maker (vintage 1983) recently sprung a leak.  So now we have a new(er) one.
