Coming into Oak Bluffs harbor.

This mourning dove was trying his best to look impressive and scare away a big, scary adversary: a rabbit.

We passed the Akamai NOC in Cambridge on our way from a sustainable seafood dinner (at Cambridge Brewing Company) to The Meadhall. That sure is a lot of graphs.

There’s something about having to use a hammer to get at your dinner that makes it that much tastier.

This was a great way to use up an overripe plum: cut it up and put it on top of biscuit dough for breakfast. With a cherry on top, naturally.

Workers are getting ready to restore the bell tower at the United First Parish Church near my office. This building houses the tombs of John Adams and John Quincy Adams. Though not in the bell tower I’m sure.

When you don’t have a julep glass for your mint julep, a half-pint ball jar works fine.

We have a slime mold growing in our bark mulch.  This photo is not enhanced — it really is this yellow.

Lis and I and her mom went to Revere Beach today to see the sand sculptures.
