Here’s a photo from 2010 to get (some of) you in the mood for ski season.

I started in on a new nutmeg for this evening’s eggnog.

Had it been a little warmer, the all-day flurries in Quincy would not even have been noticeable.  It was not warmer.

Also, historic Quincy city hall is re-encased in scaffolding and buttoned up to keep the workers out of the worst of the winter weather.

I think these are gonna be trouble. Coins for scale.

This is a winter moth female. This morning I squished her along with 15 of her sisters, all on the front of our garage.
