Look at this photo.  Does this parking lot look like it’s attached to an airport that’s closed down due to weather?  No?  Well, it is.  Quite an adventure getting home.

Jay Peak in Vermont often makes its own snow, which dumps onto the mountain.  We had this cloud today at Steamboat, which meant we had very nice snow.

Michael proposed to Sabrina after lunch on the patio today, and I was there with the good camera to capture the happy couple.

We had a mountain-specific cloud filtering snow down on us most of the day today.  But the clouds broke as we were heading down.

We’re not getting much in the way of fresh snow this week, but that means the views are pretty spectacular.

When Lis came home with this spinach, and I realized we already had eggs hard-boiled and “bacon ends and pieces” from our meat CSA, it could only mean one thing: spinach salad.  Yum.
