When Lis came home with this spinach, and I realized we already had eggs hard-boiled and “bacon ends and pieces” from our meat CSA, it could only mean one thing: spinach salad.  Yum.

This orange from Boston Organics had lost its label.  Thus I was somewhat surprised at the color.  But not disappointed; blood oranges are tasty.

We picked up our February meat CSA allotment today.  Imagine my surprise, upon opening it, to find ground ME inside. 
 

I checked, and I seem to still have all my body parts, so the label must be in error.

Lis and I went out with Greg and Jen for Chinese food tonight.  I helped Greg polish off two scorpion bowls.

We had a dusting of snow last night, just enough to pretty up the neighborhood.

Aww….

I’m making polenta for tomorrow’s dinner tonight, doing it ahead so it can set up and I can slice & fry it.

We had a second day of great weather and skiing at Jay Peak today. Here’s the view from the summit at 9:15 am.
